1. God is WITH us (Immanuel)

The greatest revelation in all of Scripture is that the God of the universe became a man so that he could redeem us and be with us forever.

Isaiah 7:14 - "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel."

Matthew 1:22-23 - "All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 'The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel' - which means 'God with us.'"

Exodus 33:14 - "The Lord replied, 'My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.'"

Isaiah 8:10 - "Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us."

2. God promises to PROVIDE for all our needs. (Jehovah Jireh)

Deuteronomy 2:7 - "These forty years the Lord has been with you, and you have not lacked for anything."

Exodus 16:4 - "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'I will rain down bread from heaven for you.'" God supernaturally provided manna and quail to nourish the Israelites for 40 years in the desert.

Deuteronomy 8:1-18 - Moses' admonition to never forget the Lord and how he has provided for the Israelites every day for 40 years..."He led you through the vast and dreadful desert, that thirsty and waterless land...He brought you water out of the hard rock. He gave you manna to eat in the desert."

Philippians 4:19 - "And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus."

Matthew 6:26 - "Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow nor reap...and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"

3. God wants us to RELY on Him for everything!

Psalm 62:8 - "Trust in Him at all times - you people pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge."

Jeremiah 17:5-8 - "Cursed is the one who trusts in man...But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord."

Zechariah 4:6 - "'Not by might, nor by power; but by my Spirit' says the Lord Almighty."

Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be all the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
