13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
~ Philippians 4:13
1. Our encouragement in Christ starts with understanding his special plans for us.
Colossians 1:12-14 – “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us unto the kingdom of the Son he loves in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
Jeremiah 29:11 – ‘“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.’”
2. God’s promises continue to give us encouragement every day.
Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
3. When we call on the Lord he answers us and is faithful to provide what we need.
Psalm 138:3 – “I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart before the “gods” I will sing your praise. I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it surpasses your fame. When I called, you answered me, you greatly emboldened me.”
Psalm 34:4 – “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
2 Timothy 1:7 – “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
4. The Lord is a constant source of encouragement as he enables us to do all things.
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
I Thessalonians 5:11 – “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

13 “Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.”
~ Filipenses 4:13
1. Nuestro ánimo en Cristo comienza con entender el plan especial para nosotros.
Colosenses 1:12-14 – “Darán gracias al Padre. Él los ha facultado para participar de la herencia de los creyentes en el reino de la luz. Él nos libró del dominio de la oscuridad y nos trasladó al reino de su amado Hijo, en quien tenemos redención y perdón de pecados.”
Jeremias 29:11 – ‘“Porque yo conozco los planes que tengo para ustedes — afirma el Señor —, planes de bienestar y no de calamidad, a fin de darles un futuro y una esperanza .’”
2. La promesa de Dios continua dandonos ánimo cada dia.
Josue 1:9 – “¡Sé fuerte y valiente! ¡No tengas miedo ni te desanimes! Porque el Señor tu Dios te acompañará dondequiera que vayas.”
Juan 16:33 – “Yo les he dicho estas cosas para que en mí hallen paz. En este mundo afrontarán aflicciones, pero ¡anímense! Yo he vencido al mundo.”
3. Cuando llamamos al Señor el contesta y es fiel proveyendo lo que necesitamos.
Salmos 138:3 – “Señor, quiero alabarte de todo corazón y cantarte salmos delante de los dioses.Quiero postrarme hacia tu santo Templo y alabar tu nombre por tu gran amor y fidelidad. Porque has exaltado tu nombre y tu palabra sobre todas las cosas. Cuando te llamé, me respondiste me infundiste ánimo y renovaste mis fuerzas.”
Salmos 34:4 – “Busqué al Señor y él me respondió; me libró de todos mis temores.”
2 Timoteo 1:7 – “Pues Dios no nos ha dado un espíritu de timidez, sino de poder, de amor y de dominio propio.”
4. El Señor es una fuente constante de ánimo mientras nos conecta a hacer todas las cosas.
Filipenses 4:13 – “Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.”
I Tesalonicenses 5:11 – “Por eso, anímense y edifíquense unos a otros, tal como lo vienen haciendo.”
