Positive Attitude in Christ

Verse of the Week 8 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things.” ~ Philippians 4:8
1. The Lord encourages us to have positive thoughts as often as possible.
Philippians 4:8 – “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
Proverbs 17:22 – “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bone.”
2. Uplifting thoughts lead to a positive attitude overflowing with hope.
Colossians 3:2 – “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
Romans 15:13 – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Galatians 5:22 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
3. The Lord continues to renew our minds so that we have a positive perspective like him.
Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Ephesians 4:22-23 – “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
4. The joy of the Lord is an incredible strength that helps us no matter what our circumstances.
“Joy is a deeper, more enduring state of happiness that comes from a connection with God and His love, while happiness is a more fleeting feeling influenced by external circumstances.”
Nehemiah 8:10 – “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
I Thessalonians 5:16 – "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

8 “Por lo demás, hermanos, consideren bien todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo respetable, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo digno de admiración; en fin, consideren bien todo lo que es excelente o digno de alabanza.”
~ Filipenses 4:8
1. El Señor nos anima a tener pensamientos positivos con la mayor frecuencia posible.
Filipenses 4:8 – “Por lo demás, hermanos, consideren bien todo lo verdadero, todo lo respetable, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo digno de admiración; en fin, consideren bien todo lo que es excelente o digno de alabanza.”
Proverbios 17:22 – “Un corazón alegre es buena medicina, pero un espíritu abatido seca los huesos.”
2. Los pensamientos alentadores conducen a una actitud positiva y llena de esperanza.
Colosenses 3:2 – “Concentren su atención en las cosas de arriba, no en las de la tierra.”
Romanos 15:13 – “Que el Dios de la esperanza los llene de todo gozo y paz en su fe, para que rebosen de esperanza por el poder del Espíritu Santo.”
Gálatas 5:22 – “Mas el fruto del Espíritu es amor, gozo, paz, paciencia, benignidad, bondad, fidelidad, mansedumbre y dominio propio.”
3. El Señor continúa renovando nuestras mentes para que tengamos una perspectiva positiva como la suya.
Romanos 12:2 – “No se amolden al mundo actual, sino transformense mediante la renovación de su mente. Así podrán comprobar cuál es la voluntad de Dios, buena, agradable y perfecta.”
Efesios 4:22-23 – “En cuanto a su anterior manera de vivir, se les enseñó a despojarse del viejo hombre, que está corrompido por sus deseos engañosos, a renovarse en la actitud de su mente y a revestirse del nuevo hombre, creado a imagen de Dios en la justicia y santidad de la verdad.”
4. El gozo del Señor es una fuerza increíble que nos ayuda sin importar nuestras circunstancias.
“El gozo es un estado de felicidad más profundo y duradero que proviene de una conexión con Dios y su amor, mientras que la felicidad es un sentimiento más fugaz influenciado por las circunstancias externas.” • Nehemías 8:10 – “Nehemías dijo: “Vayan y disfruten de manjares exquisitos y bebidas dulces, y envíen algunas a quienes no tienen nada preparado. Este día es sagrado para nuestro Señor. No se aflijan, porque el gozo del Señor es su fuerza.”
1 Tesalonicenses 5:16 – “Regocijaos siempre, orad sin cesar, dad gracias en todo, porque esta es la voluntad de Dios para vosotros en Cristo Jesús.”
