Verse of the Week
10 “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
~ 1 Peter 5:10
1. God’s Grand Plan involves restoring what was lost.
Psalm 71:20-21 – “Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more.”
Deuteronomy 30:3 – “Then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you.”
2. God’s plan of restoration involves the 4 R’s.
Returning to God – Romans 5:10 – “For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!”
Reviving us from the dead– Romans 6:4 – “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
Replacing our heart with God’s heart – Ezekiel 36:26 – “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Renewing our mind – Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
3. When we are weary God will restore us, sustain us and strengthen us.
Psalm 51:12 – “Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.”
I Peter 5:10 – “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
Isaiah 40:31 – “…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

10 “Luego de que ustedes hayan sufrido un poco de tiempo, Dios mismo, el Dios de toda gracia que los llamó a su gloria eterna en Cristo, los restaurará y los hará fuertes, firmes y estables.”
~ 1 Pedro 5:10
1. El plan maestro de Dios tiene que ver con la restauracion que fue perdida.
Salmos 71:20-21 – “Me has hecho pasar por muchas angustias y males, pero volverás a darme vida; de las profundidades de la tierra volverás a levantarme. Acrecentarás mi honor y volverás a consolarme.”
Deuteronomio 30:3 – “Entonces el Señor tu Dios restaurará tu fortuna y se compadecerá de ti. ¡Volverá a reunirte de todas las naciones por donde te haya dispersado!”
2. El plan de restauracion tiene que ver con las 4 Rs.
Regresar a Dios – Romanos 5:10 – “Porque, si cuando éramos enemigos de Dios, fuimos reconciliados con él mediante la muerte de su Hijo, ¡con cuánta más razón, habiendo sido reconciliados, seremos salvados por su vida!”
Revivirnos de la muerte– Romanos 6:4 – “Por tanto, mediante el bautismo fuimos sepultados con él en su muerte. De modo que, así como Cristo resucitó por el glorioso poder del Padre, también nosotros andemos en una vida nueva.”
Reemplazar nuestro corazon con el corazon de Dios – Ezequiel 36:26 – “Les daré un nuevo corazón y derramaré un espíritu nuevo entre ustedes; quitaré ese corazón de piedra que ahora tienen y les pondré un corazón de carne.”
Renovar nuestra muente – Romanos 12:2 – “No se amolden al mundo actual, sino sean transformados mediante la renovación de su mente. Así podrán comprobar cómo es la voluntad de Dios: buena, agradable y perfecta.”
3. Cuando estamos cansados Dios nos restaurará, sostendrá y enforzará.
Salmos 51:12 – “Devuélveme la alegría de tu salvación; que un espíritu de obediencia me sostenga.”
I Pedro 5:10 – “Luego de que ustedes hayan sufrido un poco de tiempo, Dios mismo, el Dios de toda gracia que los llamó a su gloria eterna en Cristo, los restaurará y los hará fuertes, firmes y estables.”
Isaias 40:31 – “…pero los que confían en el Señor renovarán sus fuerzas; levantarán el vuelo como las águilas correrán y no se fatigarán, caminarán y no se cansarán.”
